With David throwin’ down with the dirty downunder (I think I coined that…cuz I’m amazing like that) I figure I better hit back with some Stateside hip-hop. My brother is much more the hip-hop maestro than I am so I gotta thank him for this goodie. This is Bishop Lamont taking the piss (as David likes to say) out of the usual bitches and bling hip hop culture with his single ‘Grow Up’.

Watch out… squirrels throwing signs. Apparently, in the UK the police (hungry humans) are wiping out the Grips (the grey squirrels) to protect the weak-ass Bloods (the red squirrels).

One of my favorite new year foods in Japan is BBQ’ed/ grilled mochi ( rice cake ) basically its rice that has been pounded into a sticky paste and its made into balls or squares and left to dry, once its dry its like a rock. Most Japanese eat mochi for new years either in a Miso soup. But there are many ways to eat it and each prefecture have their own little special way of preparing it. But my favorite of all is Grilled wrapped in a piece of Seaweed paper and dipped in a mixture of soy sauce and sugar. These little things are full of calories  ( each one is equivalent to about a bowl of rice )…. now I just ate 5…. 
But the other little fact is that each new year 10’s of people die from eating mochi, because its soo sticky people tend to chuck the whole thing in their mouths and then end up choking on it… so if your going to eat it, one bite at a time… ’safety first’ people.

And something to ponder on New years Eve/ Day depending where in the world you are.. Banksy you are awesome. This is an exhibition from Banksy done earlier this year in the states. It just sums up so much about the world…. But in lightly oiled and tasty way.

Yet another one from the hoods. this is a bit of a trippy one, you have to kind of watch it to get it. If you enjoy using the swings at the local playground, this is a must see….put this one down to Australian humor and taking the piss.
